This video from Baeza shows some examples of why it is a World Heritage Site. Along with neighbouring town of Úbeda it has earned a reputation of being the cradle of Renaissance architecture in Spain.

“Renaissance Monumental Ensembles of Úbeda and Baeza” is no. 522 on UNESCO’s World Heritage List.

Audio: John Williams “La Catedral” from the album “Latin American Guitar Music by Barrios and Ponce”
